Early in the Qing dynasty, the gourmet and poet Yuan Mei said in his "Suiyuan cookbook" that the Guangxi white fermented bean curd was the best one, and the "white fermented bean curd" he mentioned is just the Guilin fermented bean curd. Huaqiao Guilin fermented bean curd tastes soft, with bright yellow color and light fragrance. The product contains more than 0.42% of amino acid nitrogen and various amino acids essential to human body, with no content of cholesterol. It won the silver medal of national high-quality products in 1983 and 1988, and has held the names of the "Guangxi brand name product", "Guangxi famous trademark" and so on since the 1990s.

The Xiangshan brand tightly rolled dried skin bean milk has been exported to Southeast Asia, West Europe, North America and other places since 1963, and has won the favor of domestic and foreign consumers with its raw materials of high-quality Northeast Chinese soybeans, exquisite production techniques and features of bright yellow color, glossy oil surface, hollow and crisp taste, protein content of over 40% and fat content of 15%. The Xiangshan-brand tightly rolled dried skin bean milk won the silver medal of national high-quality products, the titles of "Guangxi brand name product" and the "Guangxi famous trademark" in 1981, 1985 and 1989 for three times.
